Gaye's 30 year career has included senior roles with USA tourism giants - American Airlines (Regional Manager Australia/NZ), Hilton Hotels (Global Sales Director Australia/NZ & Director of Sales New Zealand), leading teams of up to 50 staff, across multiple locations.

NZ-born Gaye returned to NZ in 2011 after 19 years overseas, and assisted in the founding of leading Representation company, Regency Tourism Group (https://www.regencytourism.com/), bringing that wealth of global industry management experience back to the New Zealand market.

In 2019, Regency Tourism Group proudly won the "2019 AmCham-DHL Express Success & Innovation Awards - Contribution to Tourism to the USA".

She has held a variety of Board and Committee positions including being one of the few women to have ever held the Presidency of the global travel & tourism networking organisation, "Skal International" - in 2 clubs, in 2 countries.
