Bio
David was appointed to the role in November 2024.
David is a seasoned technology leader with more than 15 years of experience in the industry. He has a deep understanding of the New Zealand business and technology landscapes and his experience covers management and sales in the technology sector with specific focus on Hybrid Cloud, Data and AI.
He joined IBM in 2019 as the head of sales for IBM’s Global Markets division where he developed and delivered IBM New Zealand’s sales strategy. He also fostered a high performing team which delivered several significant deals under his leadership, including a three-year multimillion dollar outsource contract with a major New Zealand bank.
Previously David held senior sales management roles with Westcon-Comstor across New Zealand and Australia and Fujitsu New Zealand. In these roles he led sales, partner and alliance engagement, operational functions, implemented a multimillion dollar technology project for a new hospital in Queensland while working at Westcon-Comstor, and completed three large transformation projects across Westcon-Comstor and Fujitsu New Zealand.
