Richard draws on his 25 years’ experience to provide commercial advice to clients on tax matters impacting their businesses and growth agendas.
Richard advises NZX listed entities as well as multi-national groups on a wide range of taxation matters. Richard’s expertise involves advising on business acquisitions and disposals, takeovers, mergers, initial public offerings (IPOs) and public private partnerships. He has worked with a range of industries, including life sciences, diversified industrial products, forestry and infrastructure. Richard worked in our London office for nearly five years, specialising in capital market transactions.
Richard is a member of New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants. He is the Chair of the NZICA Practice Review Advisory Group. Richard has a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) and Bachelor of Laws, (University of Otago).
Richard enjoys travelling, tennis, skiing and spending time with his family.
