2021 AmCham-DHL Express Success & Innovation Award
Entries open for 22nd AmCham – DHL Express Success & Innovation Awards for companies doing business with the USA.
The American Chamber of Commerce is delighted to announce the launch of the 2021 AmCham – DHL Express Success & Innovation Awards. 2021 is the twenty second year these awards have been held and they celebrate business achievement between New Zealand and the United States. Bilateral trade is now worth around $17.6 billion – exports to the USA $9.8b and imports from the USA $7.8b.
"Over the years our awards have showcased some amazing companies who have demonstrated imagination, success, innovation and entrepreneurship. Trade with the USA continues to grow despite the COVID pandemic, and we look forward to seeing who has achieved success this year " said Mike Hearn, Executive Director, American Chamber of Commerce in New Zealand.
Commenting on the awards, Mark Foy, Country Manager, DHL Express New Zealand, said “With what has been a testing year for New Zealand, it is great to see Kiwi businesses confident, optimistic and ready to celebrate success. Our 2020 Export NZ DHL Export Barometer showed that despite the rapidly changing global marketplace, the positions of the top exporting trade lanes remained unchanged, with USA holding a strong consistent trading position at number two. With Covid-19 ultimately impacting supply chains globally, it was positive to see Kiwi Businesses adapt at a substantial rate to continue to bring great Kiwi products fuelled by ingenuity, to the United States”.
Following our highly successful 2020 COVID19 Success & Resilience awards we are returning to our normal categories for 2021.
